The Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced on April 24 that a Japanese man in his 30s was diagnosed with measles on April 17. He had taken Starlux Airlines flight JX838 from Taipei to Nagoya that day. A total of 54 contacts, including crew members and passengers on the same flight, have been identified.
