Hosting Henry VIII at West Horsley Place near Leatherhead will recreate the famous King’s visit to the ancient Manor House in 1533. The charity which looks after the house says it was “astonished” to find the property was used as a royal residence in the 16th century. Today, it’s best known as Button House in The BBC’s hit comedy Ghosts, as arts manager Claire Clinton explains.
