Florida resident Gabrielle Bolen spent 18 months turning an idea into a permanent Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial in Fort Myers. Opened at the Alliance for the Arts on September 19, the community-built space allows families to remember lost pets by leaving collars and tags. Local businesses and community members contributed funding, materials, labour and services to complete the memorial.
