A Family Festival to Celebrate 75 Years of Wersyll Yr Urdd, Glan-Llyn

This year the Urdd is celebrating 75 years since Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards established Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan-llyn on the shores of Llyn Tegid near Bala in 1950.

The Urdd is celebrating 75 years this year since the establishment of Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan-llyn. The camp was established by Sir Ifan ab Owen Edwards on the shores of Llyn Tegid near Bala in 1950. To celebrate the special milestone the Urdd has announced today (Thursday, 29 May) that a family festival will be held in Glan-llyn on Saturday, 27 September.
