The historic floodgates of the Terezín fortress will undergo repairs. The unique technical monument from the 18th century, which is still functional, has started to leak water. The reconstruction will not be easy - a protective wall will need to be built in the Ohře River to make it possible to access the system lying deep below the water surface.
