On Wednesday, 12 August, in Lloret de Mar, a drunken man was arrested after spitting blood on police officers. Examinations revealed that he was HIV-positive, exposing eight agents to the risk of HIV.
Considering that several agents had been in contact with his blood, a preventive protocol was immediately activated.
The man was located after starring in an assault on the beach and later facing the policemen who tried to identify him.
