Dar es Salaam -- CHILD rights activists have been urged to strengthen their knowledge of child protection laws to improve the handling of abuse, custody and juvenile justice cases and better support government efforts to safeguard children's rights.
Anykščiai police officers have launched a pre-trial investigation under a rarely used article of the Criminal Code - for threatening a civil servant or a person performing public administration functions. The investigation was launched after a couple who came to see child rights specialists made threats.
