After six years of Nazi terror, the residents of Haná experienced feelings of immense relief, joy and happiness during the liberation in 1945. All the sadder are the stories that cruelly marked the very moments when everyone was celebrating the departure of the hated occupiers. One such tragedy took place on the last day of the war in Kokory in the Přerov region.
