Netanyahu to begin process to select new security chief
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Tuesday it would begin meetings with candidates to replace Ronen Bar, the head of the domestic intelligence agency, whose dismissal sparked thousands of Israelis to take to the streets last week.

The High Court of Justice rejected Netanyahu's bid to unfreeze Ronen Bar's dismissal, but added that the PM can begin looking for his replacement. The decision runs counter to the position of the AG, who wanted the entire process suspended until the court hears petitions against his firing
