A 51-year-old worker died yesterday at 11:40 at the Smurfit Kappa paper company in Iurreta (Bizkaia). The worker was inside a tank at the company and felt unwell. A colleague pulled him out of the tank. Emergency services attempted to resuscitate the worker, but he was pronounced dead. In addition, two police officers from the emergency services were treated for poisoning due to a gas leak.
