At around 3:15 p.m. on the 1st, a swimmer found a 4-year-old boy from Tokyo, a kindergarten student, submerged in the indoor pool of a hotel in Onna Village and pulled him out. According to the Ishikawa Police Station, he is believed to have drowned and was transported to a hospital in central Okinawa Island. He was breathing on his own but unconscious. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
