(KRON) -- An elderly man died Thursday morning when his vehicle went off the roadway on Highway 37 in Marin County and wound up in the water. A 92-year-old man has died after his car went into the water at the Birdseye boat ramp in Stratford on Wednesday. The police department said they responded to the boat ramp around 1:30 p.m. after learning that a car drove down a boat launch and into the water. Stratford first responders were called to the Birdseye Boat Ramp when a car drove off the ramp into the Long Island Sound. The elderly man was deceased when the car was towed in.
