91 thousand TL fine for illegal hunting in Rize: 6.5 tons of fish confiscated

In Rize, during the hunting season that started on September 1, 2024 and ended on April 15, 2025, administrative fines of 91,561 TL were imposed on those engaged in illegal fishing. Rize Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced that 6,380 tons of aquatic products were caught, 4 people were fined in 1,010 inspections, and 6.5 tons of fish were confiscated. A hunting ban has begun for the protection of the seas.
