The deadline for implementing the "School Food" program, which applies to pre-packaged foods sold in canteens, cafeterias, and other food establishments operating within institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, has been updated to September 13, 2027.
The transition date for the "School Food" program, which includes pre-packaged products sold in school canteens, has been postponed by one year. Previously set for September 14, 2026, the date has been moved to September 13, 2027. The new regulation will also include a Nutrition Score (A, B, or C) on the product packaging.
With the notification from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the transition date for the School Food program has been updated from September 14, 2026, to September 13, 2027. Packaged products in school canteens will have A, B, and C nutrition scores; foods deemed unsuitable for sale will not be allowed in canteens.
