[Naha] On the slope in front of Konan High School in Furushima, Naha City, a variety of colorful flowers, including hibiscus and allamanda, welcome students. The flowers along the approximately 150-meter stretch of road are maintained by Naoko Tomori, a local resident. She started this activity in 2003 and continues it even now, at the age of 89 in July of this year.
