As Duval Schools Celebrate 'A' Grade, Here's How First Coast School Grades Have Changed

DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, JUL 8 – Statewide, 88% of districts and 71% of schools earned A or B grades in 2025, marking significant improvement despite ongoing challenges with student test scores and school leadership.

School employees "didn't just wait for a change. They delivered it," Superintendent Christopher Bernier said of people who worked to raise grades.
