On Wednesday (21 January) there was a serious traffic accident on Heuerlandstraße in Steinfurt at 8:50 a.m.. An 84-year-old woman was sitting in her VW Golf, which was in the driveway. Her 86-year-old husband was standing behind the vehicle to scratch the rear window freely. For unexplained reasons, the car rolled backwards. The 86-year-old fell and hurt himself severely. He was taken to a hospital with an ambulance.
