85-Year-Old Man Accused of Fatal Hit and Run in San Juan Capistrano Arrested

An 85-year-old man suspected of hitting and killing a 23-year-old pedestrian in San Juan Capistrano with his vehicle early Monday and driving away was arrested. Anthony Konstantine Kalomas of San Juan Capistrano was accused of striking 23-year-old Cesar Amilcar Zuniga Ruiz of Los Angeles, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. at Ortega Highway and La Novia Avenue, according to sheriff’s deputies.
