Are there any dreams that would help diagnose certain diseases? This seems to suggest a recent American study. Indeed, people with paradoxical sleep behaviour disorder may have an increased risk of neurodegenerative diseases. This disorder manifests itself in uncontrolled movements during sleep, due to abnormal brain activity. Disruptions often confused with dreams, nightmares or sleepwalking. This leads to a delay in diagnosis and management.
