As the Lübeck Police Department only announced yesterday, a serious fraud occurred on 11 April this year in the south of Ostholstein. A senior woman from Bad Schwartau, after she was put under pressure by telephone, handed out jewelry and cash worth more than 100,000 euros to unknown perpetrators. The police ask for help in the search for a piece of jewellery.

The fraudsters claim that the daughter is involved in a fatal accident. The mother believes them - and searches for jewelry and valuables together.
An alleged police officer demanded 75,000 euros in bail for the supposedly imprisoned granddaughter, but bank staff were suspicious. The police arrested the pick-up in Kassel.
