7 Taken Away by Hong Kong Police on Tiananmen Crackdown Anniversary

Police said the seven were stopped for allegedly disrupting order as a heavy deployment covered the former site of Hong Kong’s Tiananmen vigils.

HK police took away seven people in Causeway Bay, where past public commemorations for China’s 1989 Tiananmen crackdown were once held, on Thursday, the 37th anniversary of the event.
