6.0-magnitude quake hits Kamchatka, Russia

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 struck near Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The quake was registered at a depth of 57 km at 1:28 am local time. Its epicenter was located 119 km east of the town of Ozernovskiy, a coastal settlement in Russia's Far East region. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
