€5bn EU venture fund backs AI medical assistant Tandem Health
The Scaleup Europe Fund is making its first AI healthcare investment by leading the Series B round of Tandem Health, whose technology is available to thousands of NHS professionals, Sky News understands.
Tandem Health has also been growing rapidly in Finland, where its product is used in wellness areas.
After two first investments in the new space, the fund managed by EQT on behalf of the European Commission in particular supports Tandem Health to accelerate the adoption of AI in European health systems.
