This year, the Dougga International Festival celebrates a historic milestone: its fiftieth anniversary. For half a century now, this emblematic cultural event has brought Tunisia to life through one of the most prestigious heritage sites in the Mediterranean: the Roman Theatre of Dougga, in the heart of an archaeological site classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the best preserved Romano-African cities in North Africa.
