1 Dead, 2 Hurt Following Downtown Fargo Shooting
FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA, AUG 3 – Two overnight shootings in Fargo left two dead and two injured, with police investigating and no arrests made as of now, police said.
- On Aug. 3, 2025, Fargo police responded early Sunday to shootings outside the District 64 nightclub and at Westwood Estates, leaving four shot, including two dead.
- Shortly before 2 a.m., officers were called to the 50-block of Broadway as surrounding law enforcement agencies responded to multiple shooting scenes outside District 64 nightclub, police said.
- In the 4700 block of 16th Avenue South, a person was shot and killed near Westwood Estates at about 2:30 a.m., with another victim suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
- Officers have ruled out an ongoing threat and urged tipsters to call or text the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at 701-451-7660 or text FARGOPD and the tip to 847411.
- Detectives are working to determine whether the shootings are connected, and no arrests have been made at this time, with names of the deceased to be released after next-of-kin notification.
