A couple on a routine train trip to Paris did not expect to be the victims of a robbery when luxury jewelry was stolen from a Louis Vuitton bag placed under the seat. The bag itself remained in place – but was completely emptied of its contents, which included items from Cartier, Rolex, Hermes and De Beers. "These are memories that will never come back," said the couple.

Some 40 luxury jewels were stolen from a couple on Sunday, July 27, 2025. The events took place on board a TGV connecting Aix-en-Provence to Paris. Two robbers subtilized the Louis Vuitton bag that was under Alexandra N.'s seat, according to BFMTV's information.
