In southern Moravia, the highest afternoon temperatures will reach 33 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. It will be even warmer there on Thursday and the heat will spread to the rest of the country, while strong thunderstorms with hail, gusts of wind and torrential rainfall will appear in places in the afternoon and evening.
