Automotive supplier Nemak plans to close its plant in Herzogenburg (St. Pölten district) no later than next year. Production at the site is to be discontinued by the end of the first quarter of 2027, the company, headquartered in Mexico, confirmed in a press release on Wednesday, following a report in the "NÖN" ("Niederösterreichische Nachrichten"). Currently, the Herzogenburg plant employs around 330 people.
