3.1 magnitude earthquake reported in Ohio, about 50 miles from Huntington

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was reported near Oak Hill, Ohio, at 4:04 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, according to the US Geological Survey website. The Jackson County, Ohio Sheriff's Office confirmed several residents reported the earthquake, which originally registered as a 2.7 magnitude.
