3rd League: Dresden and Bielefeld back in the 2nd League

Before the 2024/2025 season ends next weekend, the East football team enjoys the promotion of the Dresden Dynamos to the second Bundesliga. Cottbus or Rostock could follow.

Dynamo Dresden and Arminia Bielefeld have a day before the end of the season as ascenders to the 2nd Bundesliga. This was made possible by Patzer von Saarbrücken and Rostock.

The third league is probably the only German professional league in which everyone can really beat anyone. The penultimate match day shows this: Dynamo Dresden loses with the downhill candidate Waldhof Mannheim and still celebrates the ascent. Arminia Bielefeld doesn't even have to compete for it.

In the table, the Armines pass the second ascender Dynamo Dresden and have the title in the 3rd league in their own hands.

Despite a 0:1 defeat at SV Waldhof Mannheim, the advance of SG Dynamo Dresden to the 2nd Bundesliga is certain. The decisive factor: 1. FC Saarbrücken lost at the same time in Aachen, which means that the advance of the SGD can no longer be achieved.
