Three people died after a fire broke out in an Opelousas restaurant early Saturday morning, according to authorities.The fire started about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Fat Belly's Diner, at 317 E. Jefferson St. in Opelousas, according to Opelousas Fire Chief Bryan Chavis.
