2nd fire in 3 days breaks out across lake from Nakusp: BC Wildfire

A second wildfire is burning out of control within 30 kilometres northwest of Nakusp, reported by BC Wildfire Service on June 11.
The Plant Creek wildfire, estimated at 0.6 hectares, is suspected to be caused by lightning.
Currently, no evacuation orders or area restrictions are in place, states BC Wildfire.
Suppression actions are being taken to limit the spread of the wildfire, stated BC Wildfire.
