24-year man jailed for drug trafficking

The Chisamba Magistrate’s Court has sentenced a 24-year-old man to 18 months imprisonment with hard labour for trafficking in 17.1 grams of cannabis. Alfred Phiri of Kabanana Compound in Chisamba district was convicted and sentenced by Magistrate Litungi Litungi after he pleaded guilty to the offence.
