Vermont Leads America East with 26 Presidential Scholar-Athletes

BOSTON – This year a league-best 26 Vermont student-athletes have received one of the America East Conference's highest honors as they were named Presidential Scholar-Athletes on Monday. The award recognizes graduating student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher as undergraduates and earned their degrees in 2025-26.

Twenty three Black Bears named America East Presidential Scholars

BOSTON – The America East Conference announced on Monday that 23 student-athletes from the University of Maine have been named America East Presidential Scholar-Athletes for their outstanding academic achievements throughout their collegiate careers. Maine's 23 honorees marked the second highest total of honorees among America East member institutions.

The award recognizes graduating student-athletes who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher as undergraduates and earned their degrees in 2025-26.
