The World Indoor Athletics Championships begin this morning in Toruń, Poland. Many of the world's best athletes will be at the event, which will be shown live on RÚV stations. Three Icelanders will be participating, all female runners. Aníta Hinriksdóttir will compete in the 1500 meters, Christina Alba Marcus Hafliðadóttir in the 60 meters and Júlía Kristín Jóhannesdóttir in the 60 meters hurdles.
