BEMIDJI – Only one incoming Central Collegiate Hockey Association player was selected on Saturday in the 2025 NHL Draft. That player, Maxon Vig, is headed to Bemidji State in the fall. Montreal held one final selection in the 2025 NHL Draft with their assigned seventh-round selection. With that voucher they added Bemidji State University-commit Maxon Vig, a defenceman who came up through the Minnesota high-school system.
