The Big 12 Is in the Hunt for Multiple CFP Berths with No. 8 BYU and No. 9 Texas Tech Set to Battle

- On Saturday, 'College GameDay Built by The Home Depot' will broadcast live from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, from 8-11 a.m. ET for the BYU–Texas Tech matchup.
- BYU sits atop the standings as the Brigham Young University football team and Texas Tech football team lead the Big 12 Conference's push for multiple College Football Playoff berths, with the Dec. 6 conference championship carrying automatic access.
- Rece Davis will host the three-hour show with analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban, as the program enters its 39th season after Lee Corso retired earlier this year.
- With the College GameDay pit opening at 6:30 a.m. ET, fans can line up early, and Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton said `Lubbock's going to be jumping, for sure,` reflecting local energy.
