Girl, toddler injured in separate shootings in West Philadelphia, police say

A toddler accidentally shot himself and a girl was struck by gunfire in separate incidents in West Philadelphia on Monday, police said.

A minor, between the ages of five and six, was shot in a gunfight recorded on the afternoon of May Five to the west of Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 5900th block of Pine Street at about 4:20 p.m. The minor was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and admitted in a stable condition.
