PHOENIX — Authorities say two men died Saturday morning after a fight in Phoenix escalated into a deadly confrontation involving both a gun and a knife. Officers responded around 7:40 a.m. near 22nd Place and Roosevelt Street, where they found 28-year-old Malik Hopkins and 37-year-old Warren Middlebrooks with serious injuries.
