Brewers Fans Flood Milwaukee Streets for a Long-Awaited World Series Victory Celebration
Police estimated 750,000 fans packed downtown and the lakefront rally as the Brewers celebrated their first World Series title.
- On Friday, Oct 30, 2026, the Milwaukee Brewers celebrated their first World Series title with a parade through downtown Milwaukee, drawing about 400,000 fans after the team's 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.
- The championship marks the Brewers' first title in 44 years, ending a long wait for fans who had suffered through decades without a World Series winner since the franchise's 1957 predecessor won.
- Manager Pat Murphy described the crowd as "incredible," while team captain Christian Yelich said, "We've had way too many parade beers," and World Series MVP William Contreras told supporters, "We win the trophy for you guys, for the city."
- The celebration honored franchise history, with Hall of Famer Robin Yount and Paul Molitor from the 1982 team participating. Players paid tribute to late broadcaster Bob Uecker, who died at age 90, with Yount saying, "God bless you, Bob Uecker."
- Generations of fans attended, including 76-year-old Mark Diedrich, a longtime season-ticket holder, who said the victory was "Unbelievable." The rally at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater capped the historic day.
