18-year-old Japanese restaurant in Metro Vancouver announces closure

The beloved Richmond restaurant Manzo Itamae has announced that it will be closing its doors after an impressive 18 years of operation. “After 18 memorable years, Manzo Itamae Japanese Restaurant will permanently close its doors on Sept. 30. Longtime Richmond Japanese Izakaya & Sushi Bar To Shut Down After 18 Years

Richmond had two Manzo dining rooms in February. By October 1 it will have none. Manzo Itamae Japanese Restaurant, the Capstan Way half of the pair, announced on September 14 that it will close on September 30 after 18 years.
