Police officer unlawfully killed man after using 'excessive force' to restrain him

A jury has concluded that a former Thames Valley Police officer unlawfully killed a man by way of manslaughter.

An eighteen-year-old from Wąbrzeźno died after the intervention of uniformed officers. His mother reports that he was choked by officers. The police claim that there was no irregularity in the actions of the officers. The case is being handled by the prosecutor's office, which ordered an autopsy to be carried out on the man's body.

Drama in Wąbrzeźno (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). 18-year-old Piotr was overpowered by police officers and transported to hospital. He died there. "Piotrek was screaming that they would strangle him," says the 18-year-old's mother. The police assure that the intervention was carried out in accordance with procedures.
