Naqwan Lucas faces murder charges for two shootings involving 79 rounds fired, including the death of a congressional intern struck by stray bullet, police said.
- An 18-year-old man, Naqwan Lucas, faces charges including murder in the June 30 shooting of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym and the July 4 killing of his girlfriend, 17-year-old Zoey Kelley.
- Two other teens, Jailen Lucas and Kelvin Thomas Jr., are also charged with murder in the shooting of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, who was not the intended target.
- Tarpinian-Jachym, a finance major at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, was a congressional intern for Rep. Ron Estes of Kansas.
