BROKEN BOW PUBLIC SCHOOLS DISTRICT, NEBRASKA, JUL 14 – Broken Bow Public Schools recovered $700,000 after a phishing scam diverted $1.8 million meant for a construction contractor, with investigations ongoing and new financial safeguards implemented.

Broken Bow Public Schools on Monday announced they were a victim of a phishing scam, which fraudulently took $1.8 million from the district in the spring.
