A total of 173 companies and institutions in Zeeland on a waiting list for a new or higher-capacity power connection will receive one soon. Grid operators Stedin and Tennet reported this on Thursday, after previously finding approximately 260 megawatts of capacity on the congested Zeeland power grid. This was achieved because agreements were made with current large users regarding greater flexibility in their electricity consumption.
Stedin and TenneT are halving the waiting list for the electricity grid in Zeeland. As a result, 173 companies and institutions currently on the waiting list will soon receive a new or higher-capacity connection. This was reported by grid operator Stedin.
More than 170 companies and institutions in Zeeland can expand thanks to interventions on the overcrowded power grid. Grid operators Stedin and TenneT freed up 260 megawatts of capacity.
In Zeeland, capacity has once again been found to connect new companies to the busy power grid. 173 organizations that were on the waiting list can be connected because two large companies are going to use the grid more flexibly.
