17-year-old car passenger shot in the Loop
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the Loop early Sunday, police said.The boy was a passenger in a car stopped at a red light in the 700 block of South Wells Street around 3:30 a.m. when an unknown pedestrian walked up and fired several shots at the car, according to police.The boy was shot in the arm and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in stable condition.No one is in custody, police said.
