Radio contact with the helicopter was lost on Sunday afternoon, and the bodies of the victims were found today after an extensive search operation, the French news agency AFP reported.
On Monday, the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) confirmed the death of all the people on board a helicopter that had gone for rescue work in the Arequipa region, one of the most important in the country, hit in the last weeks by a wave of floods.
