The prosecutor of the Klaipėda Regional Prosecutor's Office completed the pre-trial investigation and transferred the criminal case to the court with an indictment for the illegal possession of a very large quantity of narcotic (psychotropic) substances and their distribution.
In narcotics operations conducted by police and gendarmerie teams in Düzce between August 3-9, 2026, 2 people were arrested and legal action was taken against 55 individuals for using and possessing drugs. Various narcotic substances and 6 drug paraphernalia items were seized during the operations.
