12 Naxals, 3 DRG cops killed in encounter in Bijapur; Maoist death toll reaches 275 this year
- On Wednesday in Bijapur district, at least seven Naxalites and two District Reserve Guard jawans were killed in a gunbattle in the forested Gangaloor area near the Dantewada–Bijapur border.
- A joint team of District Reserve Guard, Special Task Force, and CoBRA surrounded a large number of Naxalites during the operation in the forested Gangaloor area.
