$11m passport penalty - Government ordered to pay as Supreme Court rules confiscation of passport violated businesswoman’s rights

The Supreme Court has ordered the Government to pay a Westmoreland woman over $11 million after it found that immigration authorities violated her constitutional rights when they took her off an outgoing flight in Kingston and confiscated her passport for more than seven months.
